See your progress. Actually see it.
Paper logs give you a stack of scribbled times. Moda gives you rings. Each one fills as you drive, and when a ring turns green, that requirement's done.
Four rings, four requirements
Your dashboard shows a circular progress ring for each state requirement: total hours, night hours, highway hours, and bad weather hours. The center of each ring displays your current value, a "of X" subtitle showing the target, and the requirement label. Open the app and you know exactly where you stand in under two seconds.
Below the rings, linear progress bars break things down further — day vs. night, weather conditions, road types. It's a complete picture without scrolling through session lists.
Animated, not static
When you open the dashboard, each ring animates from 0 to its current percentage over 0.8 seconds with an easeOut curve. It looks good. More importantly, it gives you a feel for scale — a ring that barely moves hits different than one that sweeps past halfway.
Finish a session and come back? The rings update with a smooth 0.5-second transition. You can watch your progress tick up in real time. Hit 100% and the ring fills green. Done.
Tap for details
Each ring is tappable. Tap total hours and you get a per-session breakdown showing every session that contributed. Tap night hours and you see only your night sessions, sorted by date. It's the fastest way to answer "when did I last drive at night?" without digging through a list.
Built for everyone
VoiceOver reads each ring's progress percentage aloud. "Total hours: 67% complete. 34 of 50 hours." No guessing, no visual-only indicators. The rings work for everyone.
For parents, the dashboard is proof. Not "I think I've driven about 30 hours." Actual numbers. Actual percentages. Visual proof that your teen is on track — or that they need to pick up the pace before their permit expires.
